What stage are you at in your contract @vale1172 ?
What country are you going to ? I ask as you maybe able to Roam there although that's meant for short term only i.e. around 3 months although I've seen people use that for much longer.

Please leave your direct debit in place so Vodafone can collect monies and or apply any relevant refunds.
Vodafone take 2-4 weeks to produce the final bill and collect via direct debit.
They then send a Sorry your leaving letter and £0 bill to your UK address.
