Cancelling a contract.

Hi, I would like to know how to cancel my contract which is up in the middle of next month. On the website I can upgrade my phone and sim contract before my contract ends, but for a sim only deal I have to wait until the contract expires which isn't ideal, So I need to cancel my contract. Thanks.

Hi @Vinylsteve

It's a shame you wish to cancel your contract.

Try speaking to Customer service on 191 or Live Chat to see if they can assist you.

To cancel > This is achieved by giving Vodafone 30 days notice.

Or if you wish to keep your mobile number to take to another network then ask for a Pac code and use it within 30 days of it being issued by giving it to your new network. Give this Pac code as near as to your contract end date.

Do not cancel your Direct Debit until you've the final bill and a sorry your leaving letter has been received and a £0 bill which confirms contract cancelled.

I think it's worth mentioning that not every network offers signal everywhere or offers fringe coverage so do check before signing up with another network.

Also request that your phone is unlocked so you can use any networks sim card in it.
