I am trying to unlock a Samsung S6, I have carefully followed the instructions but still get a message saying unlock unsuccessful. The EMEI is definitely correct, and the new (non Vodafone) SIM is in the phone - as per Vodafone instructions,
Currently my 12 yr old son has no phone, we deliberately bought an unlocked phone, to ensure flexibility but Vodafone have locked it. Not impressed with this!
Customer service on 191 need to help you by giving you or arranging through their Nuc Department an unfreeze code aka a mastercode.
They can also give you the Nuc Department email address to contact them directly if needed.
My personal opinion is It's about time phones were supplied as unlocked out of the box by all the networks imo.
