Changing to sim-only plan from a pay monthly contract. How to keep same number with same provider

So my monthly contract is going to end soon and I'm at a point where I don't need to upgrade my phone to the latest version. So instead, to keep the same amount of data but at a lower cost, I looked for a sim-only plan. Once I receive this new sim how do I go about keeping my current number?

Both plans are with Vodafone so I'll be with the same network and from my understanding with a PAC or STAC code it only works when transferring from one network to another.

I'm not sure if I'm missing an easy solution to my problem but any insight would be appreciated :Smiling:

TLDR: How to keep number when changing sims whilst keeping to the same network.

The changes are done on your account so you keep using your current sim and also keep your number @marksidki1

Speak with customer services on 191 or Live Chat and they'll sort this out.

Or go through your myvodafone app or myvodafone online.

A Vodafone Highstreet Store may also be able to help. Although the sim only may only be available online.

A pac \ Stac is if your moving to another network.

The Vodafone Social Media Team's via Twitter DM or Facebook Messenger can advise too.
