Clearing an unknown default

Just looked at my clearscore credit rating and seen a default from Vodafone for £37? Don't know anything about it, but likewise I'm disgusted that I know nothing about it? And I've tried to go on the Vodafone website to get this rectified.

Usually we see this as a situation caused by a person ending their Vodafone UK contract and then cancelling the Direct Debit too soon @P412ker

I'm in no way saying this is in your case.

If Vodafone feel they have exhausted means of collecting a payment then they can without any requirement to let the account holder know add a default that lasts 6 years.

The Vodafone Social Media Team's here on the forum cannot help from here in regards to an account issue as they have no access here.

But if you contact them via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries they can help from there and they'll also ask their Credit File Specialist Team to look to see if the default was warranted or not.

Link back to your thread here including your forum username so your not having to repeat yourself.

I wish you all the best with this.
