Credit File - Late Last Payment

I have just had a notification from ClearScore that you are putting a late payment marker on my credit file, when:

 

a) I havent recieved a final bill from Vodafone as yet although i have asked for one to be sent to me, back in December after been told it would be sent to me after my contract ended.

b) I did recieve a bank giro slip saying to pay an amount, but i want to check my final bill to ensure your infamous billing system hasnt cocked it up, without having to get a retro credit. 

c) I cant pay it online as the online account says no final bill.

 

How the hell, can you mark something as negative, when you have failed in your duty to send the requested and required documentation.
