False Default on closed account causing credit problems for the last 5 years

I have just discovered that a default has been registered on my credit score for the past 5 years causing me lots of problems. I moved to another provider over 5 years ago and never received any other bill and thought the matter was settled.

How do I have this default removed, I am more than happy settle any outstanding bill as it is a small sum even though I’m quite sure that I am not at fault

You'll need to contact the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and their dedicated Credit File Team will investigate.

A default if warranted remains on a person's file for 6 years from the default date.
