@Iamthejayjay I'm not personally aware of this subscription and I'm unable to access it, using the link you've provided. If you can find a number to contact them on, I'd suggest giving them a call to opt out and remove the charges. As they're a third party company, they'll need to be contacted directly to stop the subscription.
If you have any other questions though, please don't hesitate to let me know 😊

Hello!
Thank you for your reply!
I spoke with vidafone last last night with a brilliant advisor named Steven who helped me get it all cancelled. I have emailed footbox.tv who will be providing a refund also.
I am am pretty sure though that they are fraudulent in their activities as they state I subscribed through my phone to their pages whilst I was travelling to work.
Which I couldn’t as I would have been in the car!

Another victim of footbox tv here. Never subscribed. No kids to blame. No one else ever borrows my phone. I don't click links by "accident ". I do not like nor watch football. Nor to I subscribe to any tv provider be that Sky, Netflix or anyone else. Just had a conversation with a Vodafone help desk member and all further payments are now blocked. He told me they began in June 2019 along with a couple of charges for another provider called Demon Games. I've no idea how much has been taken from me since that time but I accept that I ought to have been diligent bin checking my bills. I just never felt the need before as I only use my phone for calls, texts and data and not for subscriptions. I haven't asked for a refund but still feel very let down by Vodafone since footbox is clearly the source of many identical problems. I feel each Vodafone customer with subscriptions to footbox ought to have been alerted and given the option to confirm whether or not they have subscribed. I am now left with no confidence in Vodafone and feel unsafe. Granted they do not know what I might or might not have clicked - but I do! I know that the charges were unauthorised and therefore I know there is some sort of vulnerability in my Vodafone account. This leaves me with no option but to close my account entirely and go elsewhere. I would do so immediately were it not for the fact that I am working abroad at the moment and closing my account would leave me unable to communicate with my family and partner at home. However, once back in the uk next week I'll be voting with my feet and leaving Vodafone. Not sure why I'm adding to this debate other than I felt I needed to get my annoyance and disappointment off my chest.

Hey @birchlander, I can understand your frustration at receiving these charges, especially whe you're unable to remember subscribing to these. You can add a bar to your account to to stop you from subscribing to services like these. You can do this on your phone through your My Vodafone app.
Be assured that we take your security very serious and take every precaution to keep your data safe. I'm sure there's been no breech of our security and there's no need to worry about this.

Mark,
I find your choice of phrase condescending and offensive. I did not subscribe to footbox.tv so there is in fact nothing to remember!
Neither did I subscribe to Demon Games which is another 3rd party who have profited at my expense via my Vodafone account.
Why are you making an assertion about forgetfulness? If you feel you have grounds to do so, please feel free to post them here so they can be seen and assessed. If you prefer, you are welcome to email any such evidence privately to me.
Alternatively, I would appreciate it if you will in future refrain from suggesting I have suffered from a lapse of memory. It calls into question your credibility as a responsible service provider.
i look forward to your response.

You are mis-directing your anger here which is going to mean you take the wrong action to resolve the situation. I'm on Three and it happened to me in the middle of an ultramarathon, Footbox and ilk are scammers and feed on this business model.
All it takes is two concurrent taps of the screen at the wrong moment (no actual sign up as I would consider it) for this kind of scam. Two taps is something we are all capable of inadvertently - as demonstrated by the posts here and the posts on footbox.tv's Facebook page.
We should be challenging that is allowed To operate like that not getting angry with a third party (the mobile company).
