Hey all,

i have ordered the nearly new iPhone 7 Plus on Vodafone. They said that they need more information from me to complete the order and that they would be in touch (whatever this means- someone explain???) as well as saying that they may not be able to deliver on a Saturday and they’ve taken the upfront cost AND Saturday delivery payment from my bank. The fact that the upfront payment has been taken would mean that I’ve been accepted- would I be right in thinking so?

The funds from your bank will not have probably been taken at this point but instead gated off by your bank awaiting for Vodafone to take it if all goes ahead. 

If they don't accept you then the funds would be released back to you in approx 7 days. 

Can you check your email spam folder to see if anything has dropped into there. 

I assume they'll be possibly credit checking you. 

You could try contacting customer service via Vodafone contact-us  to check the status of the order.
