Incorrect data usage?

Hi,

 

just wondering if if anyone has ever experienced VF getting their data usage wrong?

 

last month they reported that I used 9GB of data in the first week of a new month, but I wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary - in the same period this month I’ve used less than 1GB...

Hello @Fyfey what phone do you have? Did you set up a new device or back up or restore an existing one during this time? Were you mainly on mobile data or WiFi? Do you keep a track of your data usage using your phones internal data counter?

 

Because it only happened for a week it could have been a rogue app or setting that caused a data leak in the background. Miscalculations in data usage by any network are uncommon and usually continue until the fault has been reported and resolved. :Smiling:
