I spoke with Vodafone over a week ago and they admitted they had not allocated a payment made by me on 2.8.2016 to close an account this has left 3 years of default on my credit history and the damage caused by this is horrendous.
i have not been able to get a student over draft, I have been refused credit and now I cannot get a mortgage because Vodafone have not rectified their mistake!
i am still waiting for an explanation of this and when it will be sorted out and safe to say I am still getting nowhere. My option right now is to gain legal advice because it's illegal to have incorrect credit files - the complaints team at Vodafone have confirmed it was their mistake but don't seem to understand the damage they have caused to my financial situation all because they forgot to allocate a payment that they have admitted is on the system where do I go from here to getting this sorted because no one at Vodafone seems to be interested in getting this corrected - apparently it needs to go through all kinds of departments who are always closed and never ring back when promised
