Old account not showing as settled

Hi

I had an account go into default a few years ago

Payments was being taken off a card and not direct debit and the card expired but i didnt know this was happening until it was defaulted

I called up as soon as i found out snd cleared the debt but the account is showing 0 balance but still unsettled?

I want this recorded as settled as ive also saw numerous other posts similar that vodaphone is not settling closed accounts

Any help on this please?

Hi Lee.

The Vodafone Social Media Teams here who read all posts will help you once they've caught up with your thread. 

They have a Credit File Specialist Team.

If all is paid as you state then the status should auto change to settled but the default will remain for the 6 years from the default date.

Experian may also be able to help you if you contact them.

A Notice of Correction can be placed on your Credit File via you contacting Experian while Vodafone sort out the status.
