PAC code not matching tel no

After 20 years as customer took decision to move 3 phones to BT, Vodafone to date have made this process as difficult as possible and we have now spent over 6 hours on the phone trying to resolve.,  The PAC code they issue when entered does not match the telephone number that is supposed to be attributed to..  BT have verified on the central porting system that this is correct and therefore a new PAC code needs to be issued.  Vodafone are refusing to help!!!  Customer service was one of the reasons we decided to move and sadly they are not endearing us to keep our remaining business phones with them.  Can some help please we just can't get anywhere on chat or talking to a live person...
