Phone bill

My phone bill totaled up to £33.30 and it's usually £8.20, customer service says I have sent messages abroad even though I never did. I'm worried that the phone bill will be that high again. Any advice or answers?

Hi @Crazyowl

When the phone has been used for a call or messaging service, it is logged against the IMEI of the phone, Vodafone billing is usually accurate.   The best thing to do is to go through your online account, all outgoing will be itemised.

Also, take a look at any possibility that someone has been able to use your phone.

Until the next bill is produced and available online any charges at the time will be unbilled and Vodafone will ask you to wait until you have the bill to query the charges.

Is their billing against just usual text messages or apps such as Instagram?

Hi @Crazyowl

Applications usage would be covered with data allowance.

@Crazyowl  'So it wouldn't be charged under texts?'   You need to go through the bill you have received and do the same when the next months bill is online, the reason for the extra charges will be on the itemisation.

So it wouldn't be charged under texts?
