My transfer of mobile number from 3 to Vodafone has failed. I understand this may happen occasionally. I have spoke to Vodafone by phone, due to not yet having set up an account they cannot help and said I have to go into a Vodafone store. As my number has not switched I cannot open an Account, as this scenario must have happened before Vodafone should have a methods to resolve this without going into a Store . I cannot pass all the sercuity questions by phone as I have not set up an account which I cant do until my number is switched ?

Hey @stevejg47. Thanks for getting in touch with us about your porting query. You can set up an online account using your temporary Vodafone if you have one and then we can complete the relevant security checks when you make contact.
You can set up your account here and once you've set it up, you can contact our social media team here and they'll be more than happy to assist and look into your porting issue.

Thats the issue, I cant set up an account because my new number has not been transferred and there is no assigned vodaphone mobile number on my new SIM ? ( Vodaphone does not recognize the number to be transferred)

Your online Agent asked me various sercuity questions as follows
Name Passed, date of birth passed , postcode passed, sort number passed
and then asked the last bill failed (obviously I had not had a bill)
so they then said I would have to go into a Store
