Price rise cut off

I know the price rise is effective 1st April, but is there a cut off for new connections before that when it won’t apply to you or if you signed up on 29th Match it would still increase on 1st April?

Any plan taken before 24 February 2023 will be impacted by the RPI price adjustment @acdeag. Subsequently, any plan taken on, or after 24 February won't be impacted until April 2024.

Can I just check, does this also apply to upgrades as well as new connections?

For example, if tomorrow I take out a SIM Only upgrade at the price advertised on the upgrade section of MyVodafone, the price then wouldn't increase until April 2024?

Hi @redpages - if you have taken out a plan or upgrade on or after 24 February 2023, then you’ll be excluded from this years price rises, so you won’t see a change to your monthly air time plans from April.

Hi @Gemma 

I took out a new plan on 1st April but have had a price rise starting in May. After querying this the annual price rise was quoted as a reason. I raised a complaint but this has now been closed without resolution.

It's a small amount in the scheme of things but I took out a new plan (switching from my previous supplier to avoid their increase) expecting as quoted here and elsewhere that no price rise would take place until 2024.

Any advice?
