Why do  new customers get better deals? I pay £224 a month for 2 s8's % a s7. One has 8gb of data the other 2 have 20gb of data?.... a friend just got the new iPhone with 70gb of data for £40 a month & no upfront cost?...

If a person is nearing the end of their contract term then they are in a good negotiating place with the Vodafone retention teams.

Ringing 191 and choosing the thinking of leaving option gets you through to them.

But if a person wants a flagship phone then the deals can be not as sweet.

It was probably with a third party company, like mobilephonesdirect.com or CPW. Vodafone dont even offer 70GB tariffs direct through vodafone. Its probably a company that use other networks and take a comission from the cost paid to vodafone / the network every month, and then buy the phones in bulk so they are always so much cheaper. They definitely don't do a new iPhone for that kind of money, especially when they're worth £1000-£1500 to manufacture.
