Transferring a Pay as you go number over to Pay Monthly...

When filling out the form to move a pay go number over to a new pay monthly plan here, it states under step 3 the following: "We'll (Vodafone) will apply any credit left on your Pay as you go account to your first Pay monthly bill."

I had £23 credit available and it hasn't been applied to my first Pay monthly bill.

Yes @WelshPaul

I had no idea that Basics were now sold direct by Vodafone, the plans were originally only available through third party affiliate sites.  The plans are simply basic, UK calls and texts with no roaming, data is also capped to 10 Mpbs.

If you are looking for a tariff with roaming included and without any speed restriction for data, it means going for one of the other SIM only plans on the link I left in my first reply.

Hope you get your credit transferred.

An update...

  1. Vodafone never bothered to respond to my request for help on Twitter.
  2. My £23.87 Pay Go balance that I thought had been lost has been applied to my second bill.

Hope someone else finds this helpful. 👍
