I have a Vodafone contract which has come to an end so I purchased a new one via a third party as was cheaper. Now I have a new contract again with Vodafone they tell me they can’t transfer my mobile number to the new contract as it’s not an upgrade! Is this even allowed and is there a way round it as don’t want to lose old number.
