Unlock my phone

I have recently requested Vodafone to unlock my monthly contract phone , I received an email explaining what I need to do but when I insert a different sim it brings up a messages saying “sim not supported “ 

i have double checked my IMEI number and can confirm it is correct. Please help .

I filled out an unlock phone request form on Vodafone’s website but I haven’t received any NUC codes but according to the instructions I didn’t need one ?

Is it an iPhone you are unlocking?

 

if it is and you have received an e-mail saying it’s unlocked then the e-mail from Vodafone is misleading. They have sent the unlock request to Apple and it can take a few more weeks to unlock. 

 

Keep trying your non vodafone (active) sim in it and it should show as unlocked in the next few weeks.
