Vodafone Start App

I've had a notification from Vodafone informing that the Start App is to be discounted in January and asking me to uninstall the app from my phone. Exactly do I do this? The option to uninstall, or even disable, is not present for this app.

FYI, this app has now uninstalled itself, unaided by me.

Just leave it.   It's burned in one some devices.

If it's OK to leave it installed, why did Voda ask me to uninstall it?

I got the same message, and on my device it's not an App, but a Widget (Vodafone-supplied P30 Pro)

I was able to delete the widget from the home screen, and then delete it from the list of Apps in the Phone Settings (NOT the App drawer)

Unfortunately on my Samsung Galaxy A20e it's definitely an app, with no apparent means of deleting it or even disabling it.

I have no idea.   I suspect the message should have said you can uninstall it.   It'll just stop working and that'll be that.

Thanks for the update.   That's useful to know.
