so i ordered a phone a couple of years back and then found a better deal elsewhere so sent the phone back in the cooling off period, anyway since then my credit file has had an 18 pounds mark against my name from vodafone i have tried to contact you numerous times for you to tell me that you are unable to find it, to speak to someone via online chat last week who said it is with a debt company tdx prime i have tried to contact this company with no avail and this is going on far longer than it should, i need this removing and i dont know what to do now. can someone sort it please i beleive i dont even owe the money but would pay it so i can get it taken off my file. whats the point in a cooling off period if you dont adhere to it?

Did you perhaps rack up any costs via usage  during the cooling off period @colinr88 

We sometimes see people cancel the direct debit too soon.

The Vodafone Social Media Teams via  Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team who can investigate this for you.

I'd suggest Twitter and link back to your thread here including your forum username so your not having to repeat yourself.
