Existing customer,with 4 handsets for 10 years vodafone could not offer a better deal than advertised on the website to a new customer?

The Iphone x was cheaper on line at a compare website on a vodafone contract by £21.00 per month??

I was informed by customer services the cost was more as vodafone source the handsets direct from Apple???

A new hand set is a "new hand set"

On a 24 month contract with 4 x handsets at an additional £21.00 per month = £2016.00 EX VAT at 20% = £403.20  grand total £2419.20 additional to online???/

Any other customers facing the outrageous costs added ?or is it a loyalty bonus for vodafone may i ask

Being near the contract end date and not the early upgrade date can put a person in a better negotiating place if that’s the case with you @davester

In regards to the deals and offers they are not usually on recently released Apple iPhones because imo they basically don’t need to as people are clamouring over each other to get one. 

It can be the same with other new flagship phones from alternative manufacturers too. 

Many nowadays drop from a full contract to a Sim Only Deal and buy the phone of choice as that way can be cheaper in the long run. Some switch from contract to Payg. 

Independants such as Cpw can offer different deals but some Vodafone discounts such as employers VEA is not available if a person goes through an independent. Take into account if a person opens up a contract from an independent then you become their customer with Vodafone supplying the network connection. Check all T&C’s.
