ive just been told that if i upgrade my loyalty discount ends even though it says on m y contract till may 2021.

cant see any reason now to be loyal

When a person upgrades this then resets everything back to new @Frazfazer 

That said you should then be able to broker a new deal / loyalty discount.

Is your contract at it's end date or are you early upgrading.

If at the end of the contractual term you should be in a better place to broker a deal via ringing 191 and choosing the Thinking of Leaving option which usually gets a person through to the Retentions Department.

im upgrading early but dont agree on everything disappearing loyalty is loyalty and giving them more business should be rewarded not penalised 

upgrading early is not cheap either obviously no regard for customers

i can pay them off then go on line and get a better deal as a new customer which is insane

Totally understand @Frazfazer 

Some decide to try independents such as CPW too which can yield sweeter deals however one must ensure they perform an upgrade and not add a line and suggest the person then contacts Vodafone to move their original number to the new contract !

How do you get a loyalty discount? How long do you have to be with Vodafone to qualify... I’ve been with VF for nearly 30 years, maybe it’s time to try a new provider. I know I can get cheaper deals.
