Gigacube - external aerial, is it worth it?

We have a Gigacube that sits next to a window downstairs, and we were considering using an external aerial to improve the speed. However, we wondered if there wasn't much to be gained from a decent connection. 

Currently:

1. We get between 75-100mbps on 4G (there is no 5G near us)

2. The signal strength on a phone where the Gigacube is located is 3 bars.

3. The nearest Vodafone aerial/tower is about 1 mile away, not quite line of sight due to trees. BA16 0TY is the postcode.

4. Trying the Gigacube upstairs in different locations doesn't raise the speed much.

Hey there @peterclothier - I understand how important it is to have a stable connection, especially now. Have you spoken with our dedicated Gigafast team on 08080 034 515? They would need to run some tests on your line which would require account access 😊

I called the above number.

They said that I was unlikely to see much of a rise in speeds with an aerial, as 75-100mbps was already very good and even with an aerial we're still 1 mile from the mast.
