Tells me to enter my SIM ME LOCK NP

I'm guessing that's the pin I set up

Then when I've put the unlock code in it tells me unsuccessful.  I've tried 4 times and only got 1 go left  phone is an N10

When you say N10 is that a OnePlus Nord or Vodafone Smart N10 ?

May I assume your using an activated non Vodafone sim card @Zamon

I would suggest to call customer services on 191 or use Live Chat or the Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and they'll have the Nuc checked to make sure it's correct. And if needed they'll give you the Nuc Department email address.

Your right not to exhaust your amount of attempts because if you go to zero you'll hardlock the phone meaning it'll need to be sent away by Vodafone to have it's counter reset before you can try again.

Thanks

The Vodafone smart n10 using an activated non Vodafone sim which works in other phones . Should be able to be unlocked shouldn't it? I don't need the pac or stac code do I?

I'm down to my last to like i said and contacted them on social media and am waiting for them to get back

Any idea why they sent the wrong code via email?

Hi @Zamon

Vodafone phones are simple to unlock with just one unlocking process.

You use an active Vodafone SIM in the phone type *#7525*01# into the phone followed by the NUC tap OK and the phone should be unlocked.

. @anns thanks  I'm just wary as I'm on my final chance before it gets locked

Just be very careful @Zamon . Follow the solution above and you should be OK.  Make sure you are using an active Vodafone SIM.

Do I use the unlocking code that I got by email or do I wait for Vodafone to get back in touch with another one?

The same code @Zamon it will still work.  Just be extra careful. Follow the thread above.

Even if the phone fully locks to Vodafone, it won't be the end the counter can be reset but obviously that is going to mean having to send the phone for repair and with it being chargeable may not be cost effective.

The unlocking code I just received is the same as the one the other day except for the last digit which is different. I'm guessing that's why it didn't work.  I'll try and let you know

When I restart the phone with another sim. It doesn't prompt me to put the code in
