Please assist me with this issue. I get the following message on my Samsung Galaxy S8 - "SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK."
I have been in contact with the helpdesk and at first I was told that it was the new Network provider which had to unlock the sim. Nonsense as the sim works in an unlocked mobile.
I was then given an NUK (5 times) all of which did not work.
Please advise as I would like to give mobile to my daughter who is going to travel after lockdown.
Please, please assist.
Some Samsung phones also need the MCK Mastercode also known as an unfreeze code as well as the Nuc @Joroda777
Ignore the request for a Puk.
Ask them for this or instead ask the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries
I'd suggest Twitter and link back to your thread here including your forum username so your not having to repeat yourself.
Be careful not to use the Nuc too many times or you could hardlock the phone which means then it'll need sending away by Vodafone to have it's counter reset.
