I have  a Sumsung Note 4 network locked to Vodafone. I know this because if i use any other sim it asks for a code. I used a PAYG sim for 30 days and then filed the Online NUC Unlock Form. Soon after I was told via email they would need to contact the manufacturer. Then today I received an email stating that the phone is already unlocked. The phone is clearly not unlocked. What do I do?

Your quite correct that phones supplied by Vodafone are network locked thus need a Nuc from Vodafone to unlock them to all networks.

Sometimes with Samsung phones they also need a MCK Mastercode also known as an unfreeze code as well as the Nuc.

I would suggest to contact Vodafone customer services on 191 or Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Teams via  Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and they can check the status of your phone via its serial and imei number @zenzed
