Unlock code not working - A8

I requested and received an unlock code but it doesn't recognise it. I've double and treble checked the IMEI code and turned the phone on and off etc. as advised. 

 

Any help gratefully received. The phone is an expired contract which I have replaced and my husband wants to use it.

Is the alternative network sim card your using to complete the unlocking activated ?

To add some Samsung phones also need a MCK Mastercode also known as an unfreeze code as well as the Nuc.

The Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries can get you this.

Thanks. The sim is currently being used without problem in a samsung a40 so I presume it should be OK to go?
