I've received a NUC from Vidafone to unlock my old Samsung S8 so my son can use it (he has an EE SIM).
I followed instructions on email; turn phone off, insert non Vodafone SIM, switch on, enter code. Unlock is unsuccessful.
The phone asks for SIM network PUK not NUC. Tried EE PUK and still not unlocked.
Tried online chat for both Vodafone and EE and both seem unable to help.
May I assume the alternative network sim card is activated i.e. connects to mobile data etc ?
I've seen the request before for a Puk code which I believe isn't right as that code is if a person has activated their sim pin and then inputted the 4 digit code wrongly @Kayemlew
Some Samsung phones need an unfreeze code aka a mastercode as well as the Nuc.
Ask customer service on 191 for the code and or ask for the Nuc email address to contact them directly for help.
