Hi

I have this handset from a friend. 

We entered the details in the Nuc request form and received an NUC code by email. 

Entered it into the handset when requested and it said "network unlock unsuccessful" 

Now it keeps asking for the SIM PUK. 

But if I enter that it just says "network unlock unsuccessful" again and keeps asking for the PUK. 

The SIM works fine in other handsets

You shouldn't need a Puk as that's only if a person has decided to use a security feature called a sim pin and then forgets the 4 digit sim pin code.

 

With some Samsung phones a mastercode also known as an unfreeze code as well as the Nuc is required.

 

The account holder needs to ask Vodafone customer service specifically for this.

But now all it will ask for is the PUK?  Which it then won't accept... 

How can I enter either of the other codes now if I can't get past this?
