Dear Vodafone,
I have received my Unlock code by email. I inserted my non vodafone sim which prompted me for the unlock code.
I entered the code given to me but it fails every time.
Any help would be very appreciated. The Phone is an Sony Xperia XZ.
I have double checked the IMEI and it was correct.
Thanks
I have NUC number. I am unable to enter it into the service provider lock screen (as per instructions from Vodafone website https://www.vodafone.co.uk/explore/network/unlocking-your-phone/how-do-I-use-my-nuc/index.htm). I get a screen that says Your phone has not been personalised and I am unable to enter NUC.
LG G6.
Hey Vodafone.
Got a Sony Xperia XA2 (H3113). I've checked the IMEI several times and the IMEI in the email matches exactly that of the phone, but the code provided does not work.
Please advise.
Hi, I have an Iphone 11 and I'm trying to get an NUC code since mid October. Witch is already for almoust 2 months. I have filled the online form. After first 10 working days when it supposed to be supplied to me, phoned the company to get an update, the adviser didn't update the status but applied on my behalf for a new one. And this has happened already 3 times. Looks like they just can't read the notes. Yesterday was the 12th working day after applying, phoned them and they ASSURED me that I will receive the code in the next 24h! Surprise, surprise! Nothing! Phoned again and now I need to wait another 10 working days! worst customer service ever!
Hi @Anonymous
If you meet the criteria needed for unlocking the unlock will have been processed by now with Apple.
Did you do a search of the forum before posting ? There are plenty of previous thread that have explained the procedure for unlocking an iphone. Here is one example: https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Unlocking/Unlocking-Iphone-11/td-p/2647081
If you are waiting for an unlock code for an iphone, you are going to have a very long wait, Apple process the unlock and remotely unlock the phone on Apple database.
Please insert an alternative network SIM in the phone, or synchronise to itunes to complete the unlocking process. You will then find a message will come up on the screen to let you know the phone has been unlocked.
Thanks for your reply! I'll try it out👍
and if it will turn out that simple, it truly will show that all the people from customer service, who I spoke to, are imbeciles! 👏

Hello @Ss41
If a person now needs account type assistance the Vodafone Social Media Teams here no longer private message you.
You would need to contact them via Twitter or Facebook to which the link and instructions are in > Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.
Please also ensure your using an alternative network sim card to Vodafone that is activated i.e connects to mobile data etc and I assume your on the UK right now.
A quiche search of the forum came back with the following help tips too.
" Turn on your mobile and then type this to screen and press green button.
#7525#unlockingcode#1#
And
" Turn off your phone.
- Insert non accepted network Sim Card.
- Turn on your phone.
- To unlock the phone, you will have to enter the following sequence.
- Enter #7525#unlocking_code#1# and then reboot your phone.
- Now Your phone is Unlocked. "
Current Phone > Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G - SM9860 Snapdragon.
Samsung One Ui 3.1 / Android 11.

Hi @Ss41
As you are unlocking a Mobiwire Ayasha phone and not a Vodafone phone, the code *#7525*01# to enter into the phone before using the NUC will not work and is incorrect. All that should be necessary is for you to use an active SIM from an alternative network and enter the code you have been given.
As the make of phone is not on the dropdown menu on this link, How to use your Network Unlock Code try selecting Alcatel. If you are continue having problems I would suggest you contact Vodafone through the Customer Service channels or follow this link: Contact Us
I'm trying to obtain an NUC code for my old phone (iPhone 5s) which turns out to be locked (carphone warehouse say that their phones are not locked so I'm not sure why this is) I have been in touch with advisers (human and AI) and have now written to the NUC resolutions team. Still no word. Is there any way to call that team - I'd rather not sit and wait for a resolution that from reading the various threads here, may not arrive
Hey @Elisaha, thanks for getting in touch. iPhones don't actually require an NUC to unlock, as this is done over the air. Have you completed our online unlocking form here? Have you had any response from the NUC team?
You should receive an email with 10 working days of completing the form, advising that your phones now unlocked. From there, you'll need to insert an activated SIM from another network and connect to iTunes or complete a system reset on the phone. These emails can sometimes be sent to your junk/spam folder by accident too, so it's worth double checking in there.
This from Rich via twitter "Vodafone does not provide a NUC, a NUC comes from the manufacturer of your device. Only they can then unlock the device. Rich."
Is this correct?
Thank you. We've now received a notification that the phone is unlocked but it's sadly still not working. An adviser has suggested I insert my Vodafone sim for a day and then try again. However, I've also read somewhere that it may be a little while from the notifications for the phone to update. Any ideas?
Hey @jgmhyb - the NUC is generated via the IMEI of the device, so this will be created via the manufacturer and passed onto our systems.
Thanks for getting back in touch @Elisaha - have you tried a activated non Vodafone SIM in the phone and done a system restore. Please make sure to back up any data you want to save first and give that a go.
