Rattling Suresignal V3 Problem

Had no suresignal this morning and when I investigated there were no lights either.  Unplugged to move to an easier location for troubleshooting and discovered the box had a rattle.

After dismantling the unit I discovered that one of the microprocessor chips had self destructed.  There were a few scorch marks on the case interior and half a chip rattling round the case.

The troubleshooter guide didn’t work on this fault... Exploded chip to left of the blue capacitorExploded chip to left of the blue capacitor
