Sure Signal 3 stopped working after working fine for months

After working consistently for many months, yesterday my Phones stopped getting a 3G signal from the SS3. The lights are as described below.

Action Taken

I performed a power cycle and after re-synching, the situation remained the same. This morning, I held reset for 30 seconds and upon release the sure signal powered down. I then unplugged it and a minute or so later plugged it back in. It started to re-synch with the Power light steady and the Internet light flashing white. After a couple of hours, the lights are now again as described below but the phones cannot get a 3G signal and the In Use light does not illuminate when making a call (to voicemail for example).

Status

Power light: On steady

Internet Light: On Steady

In Service Light: On Steady

I've got the same problem in 3 separate suresignal boxes in 3 separate locations.

Might be a problem with their suresignal service nationwide?

The boxes are in brighton. Where is your box located?

Sorry for late reply - mine's wkring again see later post and am located in North Warwickshire.

@mpeplowIt's great to hear that your Sure Signal's started working again.

Thanks for letting us know :Smiling:

I have the same problem. SS3 has been working fine for months and now our two phones are not getting a 3G signal. Have tried all the usual troubleshooting tips. Clearly a problem here. This happened around the same time last year when after a couple of weeks the 3G signal suddenly appeared again.

@mpeplow

I've processed a resync on your Sure Signal. Please wait 6 hours before resetting the device.

Let us know how you get on.

@sohailrahim

Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread.

Many apologies for not replying sooner but I got no alerts that there had been any re[plies on this thread.

By amazing co-incidence (!!!!), after I originall posted at 10:29am, the SS3 started working within a minute and well before the re-set. Very curious but has been working since.
