Hi @Slatz,

Could you please let us know your Sure Signal serial number?

Everything looks fine with the information you've provided, however we'll need to check the Sure Signal itself.

Thanks,

Matt B

Hi,

I have the EXACT same problem, also using BT.

My serial number is 40133877007.

Barry.

Hi @barryanns

Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread. If this doesn’t resolve your query, please post your reply either below, or in the relevant thread, together with the details requested, including the following information.

Your speed test results from here.

Your ping test results from here.

Your external IP address from here.

The results of a traceroute.

Your Sure Signal serial number:

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

Thanks,

Laura

What about a reply to my problem, not the thread hijacker?

Hi @Slatz

There seems to have been an issue when the Sure Signal went through the set up.

You can see how to factory reset it here and then set it up again.

Thanks,

Ian

Done that.

Still nothing.

Does it need a re-sync at your end?

Hi @Slatz

Please try the Sure Signal at a different address, using another ISP.

This will rule out an issue with your ISP.

Thanks,

Ian

Replaced ethernet cable.

De-registered SS.

Waited 24 hrs

Registered SS.

Now working.
