Sure signal V3 stopped working

My Sure signal V3 worked for months and has now stopped and my phone gets no signal. The red light is on as are the next two lights, the phone light is off.

 

I have tried resetting the device by holding the reset button for 5 seconds several times but it seems to make no difference,

 I ran a trace root on 212.183.133.177 in CMD and got the following:

Having read some of the other messages here I tried changing my iphone 5s to 3g instead of 4g. Instantly I am up too 5 bars of signal!

 

I had full signal on my phone using the sure signal for months. Its only recently that I have had problems. I can only presume that Apple perfomed an update recently that stopped the phones using a 3g signal.

 

I went to settings....mobile data...mobile data options..then changed voice to 3G and I instantly got full signal. This even works with mobile data turned off.

 

If you are having a similar problem I suggest you try this.

 

Is Vodafone aware of this problem, is it possible to flash the sure signal so that it is 4g compatible to solve this problem without having to set phones to use 3G?

I've done a resync of your Sure Signal.

 

Please leave it for 6 hours then reset the device. 

 

It may take up to one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online. Let us know how you get on.

It did work when you resyced it. Unfortunatley it's now stopped working again. I have tried resetting it again to no avail. Could you do another resync for me?

I's still having problems. Usually I get a full signal when the sure signal is working. At the moment I'm only getting one bar on my phone. Could you resync it for me?

Still no change. If it's connecting at all it's incredably weak. I am sat right next to the sure signal and I'm never getting anymore than 2 bars of signal on my phone. A few weeks ago and for months before, I got a full signal.

Although the number of bars your seeing is less, you should still get good coverage from this.

Has the quality of your calls changed, or have there been any instances of calls going straight to voicemail when connected to the Sure Signal?

Hi

Hope you don't mind me restarting this old thread? I had not used my sure signal for a few months as I was breifly in rented accomidation and didn't need it. I moved in to my new house a month ago and now need to start using it again. Coincidentaly, I receaved a text saying my sure signal was going to be suspended as I hadn't used it in a while. I then reconnected it to my new address and changed the address on the portal.

 

My new home is out in the countryside and again I don't get a great signal here. I just wanted to check that my sure signal is still active and working?

 

If I stand right next to it an make a call I get a reasonable signal on my phone (not sure if its the sure signal or just the best part of the house for calls). Elsewhere in the bungalow signal is non exisistant.

The lights all work correctly I think.

The three lights (red, internet symbol, a volume looking one) are all lit and the phone symbol also illuminates when making a call.

As mentioned, if I stand right next to it an make a call I get a reasonable signal on my phone (not sure if its the sure signal or just the best part of the house for calls). Elsewhere in the bungalow signal is non exisistant.

To help with your calls when connected to the Sure Signal, please ensure that your phone is switched to 3G in your settings to allow your phone to fully connect to the 3G signal that's generated.

If you've done this and are continuing to experience issues, please test your Sure Signal in different locations around your home to see if this helps to improve things for you.
