Suresignal V3 Intermittent connection issues

Hi, I have a sure signal v3. Lights 1, 2 and 3 are solid.

Over the last month the registered phone works only occassionally.  Some days it will work all day others (like today) I am unable to connect at all. Nothing has changed on the network nor has the phone changed.

I have carried out numerous resets etc as suggested in a number of posts but nothing seems to correct the problem.

The phone has connected without problems for just over two years but over the last month it has only connected occassionally. As we are in a part of the country not well covered by Vodafone this is a real problem for me.

Nothing has changed on the network.

@swaapc - Your Signal is showing as last connecting to our servers yesterday at 6.44pm and everything you’ve posted looks fine.

Please try the following:

-Turn off 4G in your phone settings.

-Turn on airplane mode and then turn this back off.

-Reboot your router/modem:

  1. Turn off your router or modem at the wall for 10 seconds and then turn it back on
  2. Wait for the lights on your modem/router to indicate that an internet connection has been established
  3. Press the reset button on the Sure Signal

Let us know how you get on.

Hi thats for getting back to me.

Since my post (the next morning) the Suresignal has been working fine. This is often the case but at some point it will stop working for a day or two and then start working again without any intervention from me.

To answer your points:

-Turn off 4G in your phone settings. -  My phone doesn't support 4G

-Turn on airplane mode and then turn this back off.  - Did this a number of times when the suresignal wasn't working and it made no differnce.

-Reboot your router/modem: - did this on numerous occassions when the suresignal failed but it made no differnce,

The problem appears to be intermittent. I think at random it will just stop working for a random period of time. Note the network and interconnectivity to the internet is working fine during these periods.

@swaapc I've now completed a resync on your Sure Signal to see if this helps to stop the intermittence.

Please allow six hours to pass before completing a reset on the device.
