My Vodafone sure signal has completely stopped working and does not power up at all despite the built in plug socket still working,how do I go about getting a replacement?
It does sound like your Sure Signal has failed.
Please unplug it from the power socket if you haven't already done so.
The Sure Signal devices come with a 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty.
Either phone 191 or use Live Chat to arrange a return for repair or if convenient pop in to a Vodafone Highstreet Store and they'll send it off for you.

Hey @Batterseaboy, I'm sorry to hear that your Sure Signals stopped working. As @BandOfBrothers advised, if your Sure Signal is still in warranty the best thing you can do is pop into your local store.
