I am not sure if this Vodafones fault but it's certainly related to the network and I am not blaming anybody but more like looking for help.
I have tested this with half dozen of iPhones.
Insert Vodafone Pay as you go SIM. Wait till you get the Carrier Settings Update message click update and next thing there is no signal/service on your iPhone!
Any idea how to fix that without re-installing iOS and losing all data?

Yes it is. All the SIMs are brand new and functional. I keep facing the problem. I am work in a place where I see the problem frequently
