Vodafone Complaints Line = COMPLETE JOKE (iPhone 7)

Ordered iphone 7 on 9 Sept with a guaranteed delivery date of 16 Sept

 

So after weeks of being lied to and tried like dirt, I called the Complaints Line 0808 044 4900.

 

The first guy that answered asked what it was concerning and I said - my iphone 7 delivery. He was very abrupt and said ' I'll transfer you to the dedicated iphone 7 team'.

 

LIE NUMBER ONE:

Back on hold then someone picks up and goes through all information again.  Says 'what is this concerning?'  I said, 'isn't this the dedicated iphone 7 complaints team?' she admits that no such team exists.

 

LIE NUMBER TWO:

I ask her to give me the exact date my phone will be delivered, now that they failed to deliver on the GUARANTEED date of 16 Sept.  I ask her not to give me any date rage on vague 'in a few weeks' etc.  She says she will give me the exact date.  She comes back an says 'there will be new phones in the warehouse in 10 days'.

 

CRAZY MEANINGLESS STATEMENT:

'Don't worry, you will be fully compensated once the phone is delivered'

 

Then she put me hold whilst she spoke to the manager, and never came back.

Shane, why don't you just leave and move to EE ?

 

I gave up and left, ordered an iphone 7 plus in gold 256gb came next day cheaper tariff and double the monthly transfer at 40 gig and BT sport for 24 months.

 

I still have my complaint going through the ombudsman I won't let it drop.
