About - Vodafone 5G Mobile Hotspot 2022

Hi,

Just spoke to A lad as customer service, he keeps getting things confused. So am here.

I have "Vodafone 5G mobile hotspot". (No, its not my mobile hostpsot from samsung, its like a broad band, googled for a couple of hours and think it similar to mu5001, but its not, cause it doesnt have an ethernet adapter).

Questions:

1. They have 2 aerial connectors (I swear they do, a small copper connection thing at the top). Are they ts9? crc9? (lad at "https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Broadband/Vodafone-Gigacube-5g-is-a-very-low-quality-device/t... had a mix up)

2. My current speed is 9mb/s upload and 11 mb/s download. Same thing on my data (mobhile data). So im planning on connecting the "Vodafone 5G mobile hotspot" to an antenna and pointing it in the direction of the nearest 5G signal tower (https://www.cellmapper.net/map). Would this speed up my connection. Saw a couple of youtube video, for some it works but for others it doesnt. But i havent seen anyone do so for "Vodafone 5G mobile hotspot".

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're asking? But the general idea is you have a mobile hotspot but don't know what it is? and you want to rig this up to an aerial to get a better signal?

It sounds reasonable but it's not something I've ever heard of.
