Paying an old bill

Hi am looking to pay an old bill , when I call it’s asking me for my mobile phone number which I don’t know as it’s an old one , I really need to pay this off in full , if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

On the system they use, they should also be able to search for your account with a postcode and your first and or last name

i cant seem to get through to an agent though , as there is no other option other than putting your mobile number in , which I don’t know.

If I remember correctly just leave it and once it repeats itself 3 times it will put you through anyway or just enter an 11 number and wait it will do the same after a few attempts it will give it up and transfer you
