Returning phone, question about plan.

I plan to return my Pixel 8 during the 14 day cooling off period and assume that the new  24 month discounted airtime plan also gets cancelled.

Which plan do I revert to? Do I need to select a new one - the choices don't look good.

My previous plan before upgrading to the Pixel 8 was Unlimited and out of contract at a very good price.

If you return the device @cr01 , the airtime plan will also cancel. As this was an upgrade your tariff will revert back to pre upgrade status until you decide on a new device.
