Vodafone app has asked for a reset and won't let me in

The Vodafone app won't let me in. Said it needed a "reset ". Tried to log in but says there is a system fault and needs to send a text to my phone.  But the drop down list malfunctions and doesn't display any phone numbers.Is this a known issue?
