Bluetooth problem with Smart Ultra 6.

I have just purchased a Smart Ultra 6 which I have connected via Bluetooth to my Volkswagon Passat. Phone appears to work fine as far as making calls as well as receiving calls. My problem is that I cannot play my Spotify via the Bluetooth. I had a Smart Prime 6 which worked perfectly in the car and a number of other Android devices all worked well.

I have checked all the settings. Even done a factory reset but still the same issue.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Bluetooth in cars is a can of worms and the Volkswagen/Audi group seems to produce a lot of problems.  In the first instance, contact a dealer to see if there's a update for the car's software.   Sadly, car makers are more concerned with making cars than with the software they put in them (which they seem to regard as an inconsequential add-on) and it's often well behind current versions and standards.
