Free minutes and credit

Foes it cost money to send a text to 49500? I would like to take advantage of the free £15 bundle on lay as you go Vodafone are offering but cannot send the text to claim, I am currently in France, can anyone shed any iight?/thanks in advance

Short codes won't work when you are roaming. When you are back in the UK,  texts to Vodafone are free.
