Possible scam

I received a text saying abnormal usage had been detected on my mobile account. I was told to call 41150. If I didn't call, my service could be restricted. I called and it was an automated reply asking me to enter my phone number. Every time I put my number in it said 'not recognised' and I was to hold to speal to an advisor. I held for a long time but gave up in the end. Is this a scam.

Its not a scam, its a genuine Vodafone short code.

If in doubt, when you come to the forum, always do a quick search, very often you can find a previous thread.
