I have a sure signal v2 and until recently it was working fine but over the last feww weeks it keeps dropping calls. I have re-booted and re-started the device on numerous occasions but still happening. My Samsung s3 works perfectly well when connected to the normal network.

Hi Jonhagger

Thanks for that! As it’s been a couple of days since the Sure Signal last made contact with our servers I've given is a re-sync can you perform a factory rest and let me know how you get on?

VSS Factory Reset

* Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
* Keeping the rest button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
* Once all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
* The VSS should come online within the hour

Sukhi

Completed the factory reset this morning and tried a couple of calls one which did still drop out

Hi Jonhagger,

I've checked from our side and the Sure Signal has updated. Is it still frequently dropping calls?

If it is we will need to determine if the issue is with the Sure Signal or with your Internet connection/router. If you can try it at a friend or family members house to see if the issue is replicated this would give us that answer.

Let us know how you get on.

Kay

Hi Kay

Will try it over the next couple of days and let you know how things progress

Hi All

Checked the Sure Signal using a neighbours broaband and it still has the same issue. I have also noticed that the signal strength reading on my phone drops dramatically when moving away from the VSS.

It drops by about 30% when only 5 mtrs away with no obstacles in between. When moving back towards the VSS the signal takes an age in crease back to maximum.
