Hi,
About 2 months ago, I received an e-mail from Vodafone saying my Sure Signal had been suspended due to inactivity. I have relied on my sure Signal for most days over the last 3 years or so don't understand the e-mail. Every time I contact Vodafone they tell me everything has been reset but I can't get the sure Signal to work again.
When I switch my Sure Signal on, the red power light comes on and stays on but the system and phone lights continuously flash on and off together.
Using the links from another post, I get the following results:
Speed: 8.06Mbps download, 0.93Mbps upload
Ping: 37ms, jitter 2ms, packet loss 0%, line quality A MOS:4.38
My external IP address is 109.155.229.140
My Sure Signal serial # is 40110900434
The results of the VSS Traceroute command are "'212.183.133.177' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." I'm running Windows 7.
My internet provider is BT.
Please help me to get reconnected. I'm desperate.
Thank you.

Hi Tech Support,
I have exactly the same problem. My SS (v2) occassionally disconnects and stays disconnected until I restart it. I've enabled port clamping on my router (I have BT infinity with the new homehub). Regardless, it hasn't connected since yesterday. Although I live in a central area, Vodafone signal is very weak at my flat, and I need my SS to work.
I've seen on this forum that you can push firmware updates to the machines. Could you update mine as well?
Model: 9361 home cell V2-V

Many thanks!

Hi Supertension,
Please can you register the Sure Signal again?
It's showing as deregistered at the moment.
Hi OmerKudat,
It appears that the Sure Signal had recognised a location move, but hadn't updated.
I've done that and pushed through a resync and I need you to reset it:
Thanks,
Ian
