Text message notification sound

I had a great bird sound for my text message, everytime I got a text this bird sound would make,

I had to turn my phone off yesterday and now I cannot get that sound,  my call sound is OK, just the text message one has dissapeared,  can anyone help, XX

What make and model of phone are you using? You can usually set your ring and text tones via the settings menu on the phone

vodafone smart phone 6, and yes normally on the setting for the phone

Hi. There are normally 2 areas where you can set sounds.

In settings, sound then within that you can set notification sound.

You may also be able to set it by opening your messaging app then settings then look at notification settings there.

Have you looked at both places to see if you can set your sound choice there?
